Health & Wellness Day Brings On-Site Screening to Gulf Cement Company Employees
Gulf Cement Company held its Health & Wellness Day on 23 July 2026, bringing comprehensive on-site health screening to employees in partnership with Saudi German Hospital.
Medical teams set up at the company's offices and plant facilities, offering employees a range of screenings over the course of the day. Checks included blood glucose testing, blood pressure measurement, and general health assessment, with medical staff on hand to discuss results and provide guidance on managing risk factors. The service was made available to employees across departments and levels, from the plant floor to senior management.
The value of screening of this kind lies in accessibility. Many of the conditions most common in the region — elevated blood pressure among them — develop without obvious symptoms and are identified only through routine testing. Bringing that testing directly to the workplace removes the practical barriers that often stand between people and a first check.
"Health & Wellness Day reflects our commitment to putting people first," said Mr. Mohammed Ahmed A.E. Ebrahimouh Al Shehhi, Senior Vice President of Gulf Cement Company. "At Gulf Cement Company, we believe that a healthy workforce is the foundation of a stronger future."
The initiative forms part of a wider approach at Gulf Cement Company that treats employee wellbeing as inseparable from operational safety. A workforce in good health is better equipped to work safely in a demanding industrial environment, and the company's health programme runs alongside its established safety training and awareness activities.
Gulf Cement Company extends its sincere appreciation to Saudi German Hospital for their partnership in delivering the day, and for their team's professionalism and care throughout. Together, we continue building a healthier, safer, and stronger workplace.
