Gulf Cement Company Holds 51st General Assembly and Second Board Meeting of 2026
Gulf Cement Company P.S.C. convened its 51st General Assembly Meeting on 16 April 2026, followed by the second Board of Directors meeting of the year, Meeting No. (2/2026), bringing shareholders and directors together to review performance and set direction for the quarter ahead.
Held under the company's guiding commitment to "Clean Industry, Sustainable Environment," the proceedings reflected Gulf Cement Company's continued emphasis on transparency, disciplined governance, and long-term industrial planning. As a company listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, Gulf Cement Company maintains rigorous disclosure and accountability standards in how it reports to shareholders and directs its operations.
The Board's agenda moved from finalising the implementation of resolutions adopted at the 51st General Assembly to a detailed review of committee and management reports covering operational performance, financial results, and the company's ongoing investment programme. Directors examined the progress of current initiatives and discussed priorities for the coming quarter, with particular attention to the company's environmental commitments and its production capacity roadmap.
The discussions underline a broader direction that has shaped Gulf Cement Company's strategy in recent years: strengthening industrial capability while advancing the environmental performance of cement production. The Board's focus on sustainability alongside financial and operational review reflects the expectation that these objectives are pursued together rather than separately.
Gulf Cement Company has operated from Khor Khwair, Ras Al Khaimah, since 1977, and today ranks among the UAE's established cement producers, supplying the domestic construction sector and regional export markets. Its governance framework, shareholder engagement, and board oversight form the foundation for decisions that carry across multi-year investment cycles.
"From finalising the implementation of General Assembly resolutions to reviewing critical management reports, we are laying the foundation for a sustainable industrial future," said Mr. José B. Sena, Chief Executive Officer of Gulf Cement Company.
The outcomes of the meeting will guide operational and strategic priorities through the next quarter, with further disclosures to be issued in line with regulatory requirements.
