Gulf Cement Company Bids Farewell to Mr. Mohammed Raheem After 37 Years
Gulf Cement Company gathered on 12 August 2026 to mark the retirement of Mr. Mohammed Raheem, closing a remarkable 37 years of service to the company.
Colleagues from across the organisation joined the occasion, where Mr. Raheem was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation recognising more than three decades of dedicated service. A cake marked "Honouring 37 Years of Dedication — Happy Retirement" was cut alongside colleagues who had worked with him over many years, and members of the senior management team attended to convey the company's thanks in person.
Thirty-seven years represents a span that reaches back close to the earliest years of Gulf Cement Company's operations. Over that period, Mr. Raheem worked through successive phases of the company's growth, contributing to its daily operation and becoming a familiar and valued presence to generations of colleagues.
"Thirty-seven years is more than just a number — it is a journey of dedication, loyalty, hard work, and unforgettable memories," said Mr. José B. Sena, Chief Executive Officer of Gulf Cement Company. "Thank you, Mohammed Raheem, for being an important part of the Gulf Cement family and for leaving behind a legacy that will always be remembered and appreciated."
Long-serving colleagues carry the working culture of an organisation forward in a way that no procedure or manual can replicate. They train the people who follow them, hold the practical knowledge that keeps operations running, and set the standard by which others measure their own commitment. Mr. Raheem's career is a clear example.
As one chapter closes and a new one begins, Gulf Cement Company wishes Mr. Mohammed Raheem a happy, peaceful, and well-deserved retirement, filled with good health and time with his loved ones. His journey with the company may have reached its end, but his legacy remains. He will truly be missed.
