Capacity Expansion Strengthens Regional Supply Leadership

Ras Al Khaimah, UAE – 2006 — Gulf Cement Company marked a major milestone in its industrial development with the successful expansion of its production facilities through the commissioning of an advanced kiln line incorporating state-of-the-art German engineering technology.

The project significantly increased the company’s clinker production capacity to approximately 3.4 million tons per annum, while cement grinding capacity reached 2 million tons per annum, enabling GCC to meet the rapidly growing demand for construction materials across the UAE and neighboring markets.

The expansion was designed with a strong focus on operational efficiency and environmental performance. The new production line incorporated high-efficiency filtration systems, including advanced bag filters capable of achieving emissions levels below 5 mg/Nm³, positioning Gulf Cement among the region’s leading producers in terms of environmental compliance and air quality management.

This investment reinforced GCC’s strategic role within the regional construction supply chain. By strengthening production reliability and increasing output capacity, the company enhanced its ability to support large-scale infrastructure developments and export markets while maintaining consistent product quality.

The 2006 expansion remains one of the defining moments in Gulf Cement’s industrial growth, reflecting the company’s long-term commitment to technological advancement and sustainable production practices within the cement manufacturing sector.
