12 April, 2004 GCC signed  US $100 Millions contract A new clinker production line with a capacity of 7500 t/d will be installed by ThyssenKrupp/India and Polysius AG/ Germany to be commissioned in 2006, this State-of-the-Art Clinker Production line will include the world’s largest vertical roller mill of it’s type,The technical Know-How from Polysius AG Germany.

Upon commissioning the new line: GCC will be the Largest clinker producer in the UAE
